Cemetery Training
Barnes Cemetery Training and Consulting Services has created a formal training program for those who work in Ontario’s cemeteries. Too often staff is shifted into these specific work environments with little or no formal training. In response, Barnes Cemetery Training and Consulting Services has entered into an agreement with the Ontario Recreation Facilities Association (ORFA) to deliver cemetery training through the highly respected ORFA training certification program.
Cemetery staff education and training is essential for all cemetery operators. The Cemeterian™ Operations and Management course identifies the fundamentals of cemetery management and demonstrates the industry standard for proper cemetery operations. These educational courses will assist all cemetery operators in their decisions made in their day to day activities. Proper instruction can only lead to a more professional staff and a more positive experience for the public. Errors in cemetery management can be disastrous to any organization.
